Welcome

The Open Restful Core API (ORCA), a component of PortX, provides a developer friendly set of APIs based on ISO 20022 to access banking data.

APIs adheres to RESTful API concepts where possible and sensible to do so. However, the priority is to have an API that is simple to understand and easy to use.

ORCA will adopt existing standards and platform features where relevant/appropriate to minimize re-inventing the wheel. The APIs semantic and interaction are based on ISO 20022.

The endpoints allow ISO interactions. That is, each API endpoint could be mapped with an ISO message, within a use case interaction.

To enhance the human-readable features of the API, the ISO type values are used with their PascalCase names.
